Method 1: How To Take A Screenshot With Print Screen Button

The print screen button on your keyboard may be labelled as “PrtScn” or “PrntScrn” or may be similar.  The Print screen button is situated on between F12 and Scroll Lock button.

Snips (Screenshots) can there be annotated using a mouse or a tablet, stored as an image file (PNG, GIF, or JPEG file), or an MHTML file, or e-mailed.

Snipping Tool allows for basic image editing of the snapshots, with different coloured pens, an eraser, and an highlighter. In Windows 10 operating system the snipping tool has a new built-in feature that is “Delay Time” which allows for timed capture of screenshots.

  • Unlike a regular snip, the screen will not immediately fade out. Instead, you will have time between 0 to 5 seconds depending upon the time delay you choose to set up your screenshot. Once your time delay is over the screen will freeze and fade out so you can create your snip.
